I have a special place for Ohio in my heart. When I was an undergrad at the University of Michigan, I organized a lecture and film screening around the movie “Rembetiko”, an important part of Greek music history. The Ohio Greek Student association had a VHS copy and, likely using this new cool technology called email for an inquiry, they let me borrow it, old school honor system, dropping it in the snail mail. Never mind their school was apparently our school’s football rival; given I don’t like sports and never set foot in the U of M stadium until graduation day, it didn’t really register.
So: I’m happy to see that Dayton Metro Library in Ohio has a copy of To Love Like Venus ready for ebook check out! Borrow away, like I did.
Here’s some cool facts about the library and its director, from their website:

Within our 18 Branches and beyond our walls, we are advocates for exploration, champions of literacy, and active facilitators of empowerment, inclusion, and positive change… Meet the Director
