Las Vegas-Clark County Library District has been “the recipient of three consecutive ALA Library of the Future Awards in 2022, 2023 & 2024 (the first library system to ever accomplish this)”. In visiting their website, the total vibe I get is this is the Mister Rogers of library personalities. Their tagline and motto? “Free to be”. They go on to emphasize: “People are important to us.” They have a word about their new logo: “Our new logo is a departure from Library District logos of the past, which were more governmental in nature. The new design suggests a joyful person and a feeling of welcome and human interaction.”
