Some publishing folks are organizing a Publishing for Minnesota auction. From their IG: “We are a group of authors, illustrators, agents, and editors who believe the time is now for collective action. In response to ongoing ICE raids and federal actions causing harm to immigrant communities and our neighbors across the country, we are organizing this auction to raise funds for those most impacted. Proceeds from this auction will support organizations providing legal aid, emergency assistance, food, and community resources to those in urgent need… Winning bids will have 48 hours to show confirmation of donation to one of the following organizations…” which are found on their website link listed below.

It has over 500 items up for auction, including Event Horizon: Stories of No Turning Back, which I donated. A great chance to grab the book super discounted if no one out-bids you. Or to have fun bidding.

Auction opens Thursday 1/29/2026 12am EST. Closes 1/30/2026 at 11:45pm EST.
